A more connected Ward 4.

City council meets twice a month. The agenda — everything the council will vote on — gets posted publicly the Thursday before each meeting. Most residents never see it.

I think that's a problem. If you don't know what's on the agenda, you can't weigh in. And if your alderman doesn't hear from you, they're going into that room making decisions in a vacuum.

What I'm pledging to do if elected.

Every Thursday before a council meeting, I'll send the agenda to anyone who wants it — along with a plain-English summary of what's actually being decided. Then I want to hear from you before I walk in that door.

Here's how it would work
  1. The agenda gets posted Thursday before each meeting.
  2. I send it to you with a quick summary of what's on it.
  3. You reply and tell me how you feel.
  4. I bring your input to the table — not just my own opinion.

Before I'm elected, I'll use this list to keep you updated on the campaign — when I need petition signatures, when election day is approaching, and how you can help. If elected, it becomes exactly what's described above: your direct line to your alderman before every council meeting.

Low volume — the occasional campaign update when it actually matters, like when I need petition signatures or election day is near. Never a fundraising ask. Unsubscribe any time.
